Welcome to 5 Star Learning Club! I’m so excited to introduce my curated lesson plans for childcare centers and homes In Oklahoma and beyond. My name is Bianca Rentie & I‘ve been working in childcare since graduating high school back in 2015. I’ve gained so much professional & hands-on experience throughout these years and have interacted and bonded with so many different personalities & temperaments. Since I’ve had an extensive run in year-round childcare, I’ve had to really get creative with planning new and exciting activities to keep learners engaged and enthused. I‘ve always been artsy and creative, so arts & crafts were my niche in childcare classrooms and planning activities is something I became good at. I’ve now settled into an assistant director role at a 5-star center in Oklahoma and am happily responsible for all lesson planning and prep work for classrooms. I created 5-Star Learning Club to offer my weekly lesson plans to other childcare providers who might be running out of gas with coming up with themes for their classrooms, or childcare owners who want teachers to focus on execution and interaction over planning, or providers who are wanting to try something new! But Wait! It doesn’t stop there. I didn’t just want a store front where you come, purchase, then that’s the end of it. I wanted to create a place where we can expound together on activities. There have been many instances where I created and sold a lesson plan, then executed an activity in a classroom, then afterward I’d think “Gosh, I wish I could show them this way, its so cute!” so this is where my blog posts will enter the chat. Here at 5 Star Learning Club, us providers can converse, laugh, provide feedback on activities, make suggestions, say this worked/this didn’t work, and just show different styles & twists in which we executed our plans.
